Beauty Favourites: Feed me!

When you read this post, I'm probably on my way to our annual family ski vacation which feels like an excellent opportunity to share some of my current beauty favourites. During the colder months, my skin is typically on the drier side, so I'm particularly partial to nourishing products. Here's what I've been using lately – it's also what I'm bringing with me for the next couple of days in the snow!

Lavera Cleansing Milk 2 in 1 (7-8 €): The dry areas of my face often become extra raw when I use a stripping cleanser, so I tend towards milder products like this cleansing milk. It smells good, is easy to use and feels very nice on my skin. This is acutally my first winter using cream cleansers, and I'm sure it won't be my last!

Brooklyn Soap Company Beard Oil (14.90 €): Ok, so technically I'm not using this one myself, but it does smell amazing, Malte swears by it, and I might have stolen a drop or two for my hair (don't tell!).

Weleda Skin Food (7-8 €): I've written about this all time favourite of mine here, and my love for it hasn't changed since then. This all purpose moisturizer is especially great for dry hands, long winter walks or when I'm spending quite a bit of time out in the cold, which is very likely going to happen a lot this next couple of days.

Lovely Day Botanicals Mellow Mallow Cleanser (from 17 €): Lovely Day Botanicals is a Berlin based (actually a 5 minute walk from where we live!) brand that uses only vegan ingredients for all their products. I love their mild cleanser for when I want to treat myself to an extra luxurious nighttime beauty ritual. They offer almost all their products in sample sizes which I think is great for trying out products!

Weleda Everon Lip Balm (4-5 €): This one has been my favourite since I was a teenager, and while I tried my fair share of others I still haven't found a lip balm that even comes close to this one. I like my lip products neither too light nor overly scented, and with its soothing formula and a gorgeous smell of roses and vanilla, Everon fits the bill perfectly. Plus it comes with sun protection!

Merme Berlin Facial Beauty Elixir (32 €): Originally from Australia, but now located in Berlin, Merme specializes in 1-ingredient skin and hair care, and this rosehip facial elixir is jam packed with vitamins and omega-fatty acids. I've been a devoted follower of the skin oils cult for quite a while now, and this one will most definitely be used up soon.

Kester Black Nail Polish in Buttercream (19-20 €): Hands up if you've been having a hard time finding a pretty but ethically made nail polish, too? This gorgeous 10-free fellow is free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalates and animal derived or tested ingredients, and is both water permeable and breathable - a winner in my book! I went for a nude shade but can see myself wearing many of their other shades, too.

Lovely Day Botanicals Hyaluron + Bloom Mask (from 19 €): This pink clay mask helps with giving dry winter skin back its glow, and treating myself to this one or its charcoal sister a few times a week is one of my favourite everday luxuries!

Lovely Day Botanicals Coco Gloss Hair Serum (18 €): Cold wheather and hair isn't necessarily a match made in haven, and this hair serum really helps with frizz and dry ends. The bottle may look small, but as you really only need a few drops, it lasts quite long!

All products are sustainably and ethically made, and with the exception of the lip balm (which contains beeswax) vegan. This post includes PR Samples. Thanks for supporting companies that share our values.
